Founded to support local organizations
Founded in 1945, the Legacy Foundation continues to build their capacity to support critical program with two grant cycles each year. We invite those organizations needing assistance to apply for support, and we invite those community members who love Tompkins County and the quality of life it strives to provide for its citizens to join our efforts by making a gift to Legacy.
Our Program Areas
The Legacy Foundation passionately focuses on six key program areas for our grants, dedicated to uplifting and enriching our community for everyone’s benefit.

Supporting initiatives that promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
